Andrew Dale Offers Scholarships To Suffern Students

Andrew Dale helps Suffern NY Students 

SUFFERN NY (Sept 7) -- Andrew Dale Public Service Initiative Scholarship offers three students a $1750 scholarship returning to SUNY Rockland's Suffern NY Campus.  The scholarship was set up to financially assist three students to return as sophomores to SUNY Rockland.

The scholarship is designed to reward those students that volunteer in their communities.  The scholarship is also set up to assist those students that seek a career in public service. 




Andrew Dale of Suffern NY was Former Police Officer

Andrew Dale was a former United States Marine, former Police Officer and had volunteered in the volunteer fire department and volunteer ambulance corps.  He believes that people that volunteer and enter careers in public service are people that are committed to give back and make the world a better place.

He attended SUNY Rockland and completed his education at Fordham University.  He became very involved with SUNY Rockland and sits on the Executive Board for the Alumni Association.

Andrew Dale is currently the CEO of The Pin People, which is one of the largest lapel pin manufactures in the United States.

Other Scholarships offered

SUNY Rockland offers many different scholarships for new and returning students.  Many students never even apply for the scholarships.  There are dozens and dozens of scholarships that are specific to certain fields of study.  Some students are able to pay for almost one semester of school with the scholarships that they receive.

Often, a general application will register the student for most of the SUNY Rockland scholarships that are available.
